Jools Cornell is dedicated to highlighting the unrivalled beauty of the highest quality hand crafted Indian textiles, and has an innate understanding of English decoration and style.
A lifelong love affair with interiors, textiles and prints was reignited when Jools Cornell lived in India with her young family and found a passion for Indian textiles and the ancient art of hand block printing. Immersed in Indian culture, Jools was drawn to the beautiful Chintz fabrics that were produced in India over 300 years ago and the Mughal motifs that surrounded her in her daily life.
Bringing these together, Jools was inspired to work with a talented team of block carvers and hand block printers in Jaipur and established Pukka Print’s signature style; delicately elaborate designs with layers of colour, hand block printed onto exceptionally beautiful linen with an elegant drape. The prints are perfectly complemented by Pukka Print weaves, which are hand woven in Kerala.
