Salina - SALI-001

The new Salina collection followed a re-exploration and reimagining by the design team of some of their favourite Fermoie designs, particularly Sicily with its complex marriage of forms and patterns including seaside stripes, elements from folk costumes and geometric deco shapes. This process kindled a new excitement about interlocking and crossing shapes over each other to create movement and texture. Named after the small island in the Aeolian archipelago to the north of Sicily itself, Salina highlights how Fermoie creates the perfect-sized mark, which then interacts with and brings to life the weave in the basecloth.
