Foscari Chimneypiece - Bardiglio Marble

This fine Bardiglio fireplace features a plain centre tablet flanked by intricate, interlinking finger flutes and spears beneath a moulded shelf with dental cornice. The unusual S-shaped console jambs have finely carved scrolled side volutes ending in delicate anthemion, while the corner blocks feature circular paterae delicately carved with flowers.
