Lichfield Chimneypiece - White Marble

This elegant English Regency style marble fireplace exhibits all the best elements of the period. Carved from statuary marble, the tapered, panelled jambs of the chimneypiece are wrapped with lotus leaf clasps at the top and carved acanthus at the base, headed by corner blocks filled with carved female masks.
