Column Lamp - Ebonised

The tallest table lamp in the Max Rollitt range, the Column Lamp makes a statement whether on its own or used as one of a pair. Its design is inspired by a 19th-century original made from ebony, but due to the illegal logging and overexploitation of tropical forests driven by ebony today, this version uses sustainable tulipwood and beech, which is hand-turned in the UK. It's then ebonized to give the much sought-after effect of the original, using techniques and materials that were already in use in the late Victorian period, when the original lamp was made.
