Persian Garden Flower - Azul

The carnation is a very decorative and significant flower used in ancient textiles, painting, furniture and architecture. Some historical evidence suggests that the native range of the original carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus) was present in Persia. We have taken the small detail from our larger scale ‘Persian Garden’ to make a repeating pattern which can be used as a complimentary design or on its own.
