A design that speaks so eloquently of movement and water, with a pliable yet substantial hand and a lively graphic twist that renders it entirely of the moment. The word “riva” translates from Italian to shore or bank, which we feel is entirely appropriate for a design that speaks so eloquently of movement and water. It is also the name of the manufacturer of the jazzy wooden speedboats used by the likes of Gianni Agnelli to ferry his fellow A-listers from one glamorous party or secluded cove to another on whatever body of water he happened to be. The design of our Riva suggests the sparkling wake created by one of these powerful little vessels.
